Building Information Model
Built assets include, but are not limited to, buildings, bridges, roads, and plants. The human sensors, i.e. the citizens and the first responders, use the interactive BIM map to identify threats, such as fires, explosions, floods, earthquakes, leaks, as well as obstacles that may hinder evacuation routes. The BIM service contributes to the Crowd-sensing Manager service by proving information regarding the identified threats. It also informs the Gamification service about citizen’s interactions, for scoring purposes.
