This solution transforms low level observed data & events into cyber-physical threat intelligence for the infrastructures of the financial sector. To this end it comprises a wide range of modules including probes for collecting security information and events, data collection services for filtering the information for the probes, a wide range of data analytics services for extracting anomalies and predicting incidents, as well as various modules implementing higher level services such as risk assessment, collaborative risk assessment across organizations, audit and certification tools and more. It also comes with a range logging, AAA (Authentication, Authorization and Auditing) and other auxiliary yet important functionalities. Information and services in the platform are visualized in the FINSEC dashboard, while the information that flows across the different modules is exchanged in the FINSTIX format.

Innovation

The innovation of the platform lies in its ability to integrate a wide range of novel components that delivery security insights to the security operator, notably integrated (cyber/physical) security insights. As such the platform provides a basis for transforming security activities in financial organizations towards delivering integrated cyber-physical threat intelligence.
