RAE for Finance, provides the means for analyzing and evaluating risks associated with the infrastructures of the financial sector.
The RAE for finance is a risk assessment engine for the infrastructures of the financial sector. It identifies and analyses potential hazards that may impact individuals, equipment and environment (Risk Analysis) and accordingly assesses the tolerance of the financial organization on their consequences (Risk Evaluation). The RAE assesses the risks of cyber-physical infrastructures at any given point in time in both qualitative and quantitative terms.
Using the RAE for Finance, security officers in Financial Institutions are able to take informed decisions and design appropriate security policies. Moreover, they can continuously monitor the infrastructure status, as a means of checking for possible anomalies or changes in the context, and reconfiguring existing security policies accordingly and in a timely fashion.
The RAE for Finance is built over ATOS technology and complies with the FINSEC Reference Architecture and the FINSTIX data model.
The RAE for finance is versatile in the incorporation of risk models. Moreover, it supports the FINSTIX model in terms of the inputs that it accepts and the outputs that it produces. Its flexibility and customization to the finance sector are its two main innovative elements.
